Kaleidoscopes

Grade 8

Students in Grade 8 created personalized Rosh Hashanah kaleidoscopes. This project is a way to look forward into the coming year. Rather than reflecting on their sins, they intentionally put hopes and goals into the kaleidoscope. They brainstormed ideas for how to best represent the hope, and how to construct the kaleidoscope. After choosing materials, they built the design, making changes as they went, and when finished, will reflect on their work, both process and product.
