Felt Food Bakery
Grade 6
In grade 6 learning lab, students put some of their executive functioning skills to the test in a design challenge. Students were tasked with creating soft plush toys that could be used by our kindergarten students in a dramatic play bakery or cafe. While students identified many executive functioning skills needed for this project, we specifically focused on time management. With three working blocks, students needed to make a plan that could be completed, then reflect on their use of time and how they can adapt this process to their upcoming end-of-year projects. We are so excited to deliver these beautiful bakery items to kindergarten!
