STEAM Fair

Grade 3

Students in Grade 3 were well underway with their study of motion, forces, and simple machines when they began their work on the STEAM Fair. Focusing on UN Sustainable Development Goal 11 - Sustainable and accessible communities, they met with the Dedham town planners. The goal is to make Wigwam Pond an accessible place for the community of Dedham. After choosing a specific client and problem, students crafted testable questions. At this point, they came down to the Kol-lab and got to work on designing the experiments. See the building process below.
