Design Challenges

Grade 4

For our final day in the Kol-lab, students in Grade 4 choose between three design challenges. We had so much fun building, measuring and testing, redesigning, retesting, and so on.

• Challenge 1: make zip-line device to safely transport the Lego figure across the room

• Challenge 2: using very few materials, create a launcher for a mini toy figurine

• Challenge 3: stack the cups as high as you can without an avalanche
