Chanukah Craft Activity Kits
Currently, there are an estimated number of 200,000 Israelis who are displaced from their homes (who usually reside near the southern or northern borders of Israel). Many of them are families with children. Our tribe's activity this month was dedicated to these families offering for them a quick, easy and sweet Chanukah activity that we assembled. The recipients of these kits will decorate and assemble a paper dreidel to fill with candy. Also included in the kits are notebooks, crayons, stickers, and real dreidels. Rashi will send around 100 kits to Israel.
Your task as a family:
Cut the dreidel template on the dotted lines - DO NOT DECORATE OR ASSEMBLE
Decorate outside and inside of the box
Assemble the packaging box that will carry the kit
Add Hebrew letters to the wooden dreidel (see below)
Make a decorated card or two for each box. Make sure that these cards have words and pictures related to Chanukah.
Load the box with stickers, notebook, a straw, colored pencils, sharpener, wood dreidel, candy, paper dreidel, and cards
Close the box
Materials you will need (not included):
Markers for decorating the box and cards
Paper for cards
Sharpies (for writing the Hebrew letters on the wood dreidel)
Scissors
Return the finished kits to the front office by Monday, November 13.
