Remote Meal Kits Available
With the announcements earlier this morning about shifting the middle and high school students to remote learning, we wanted to adjust our remote learner meal program to accommodate all of our remote students and families.
It will take us two days to receive the food and prepare meal kits for each of you. I have attached a letter that provides the details for how you can get your child/children (anyone 0-18) the meals they need between now and November 20. Please read the information carefully and note the deadlines to reserve your kits as well as the timeframes for pickup.
Thank you for your understanding and flexibility as we work to keep your child, you, and all of our families safe during this surge in our community.
Sincerely,
Dr. Neumann

Beginning of Year Assessments
With no STAAR assessments last year, the state developed some Beginning of Year diagnostic assessments for schools to use this year to help them assess what students did and didn't master from last year's curriculum. The results of these diagnostic assessments will help teachers identify any learning gaps. It is important to talk with your child about doing their best on their beginning of year diagnostic assessment.

Prom 2020
So, tonight was supposed to be the night of prom. In fact, we would have been starting pretty soon. Unfortunately, we aren't there. Though our team at Meyer High School is hoping to make it up to our Seniors this summer, we didn't want tonight to be forgotten.
Enjoy this ONE LAST SONG for tonight. I hope it makes you smile :)
