Letters of Recommendation

Juniors or seniors may desire that I compose a letter recommending them for college admission, scholarships, or job opportunities. This request should be made in person. If you would like me to write you a letter of recommendation and have already asked me, you may click on this link to complete the form. Please complete the form according to the following guidelines:

• Answer all questions completely
• Be specific
• Elaborate: give examples of what you've done and why that is important to you.
• Be self-reflective and honest

I put a lot of work into letters of recommendation -- I expect you to put a lot of thought and reflection into your responses to these questions. If you are asking me to write a recommendation for you, know that I will take time to write an honest letter about you as a person and a student. After knowing you for at least a year, I like to think I know you quite well, but filling out this information provides me with additional information to add.
