As the school closure continues to extend, Please make physical education and being active part of your daily routine. There are several studies that connect being physically active to improved health, test scores, reduced stress, and confidence. Each student should strive for 25 minutes of movement per class with an additional 35 minutes of movement throughout the day totalling 60 minutes per day. This does not have to be continuous and can be broken down into a few sessions. Additionally, I will continue to add popular movement videos such as go-noodle on this page to follow along and help achieve the recommended daily physical education. Please fill out the activity journal (attached below) at the end of each school week and email each students progress.
