The Advance Leadership Camp is a premier NCC training program that develops leadership qualities in cadets. Held annually, the camp enhances personality development, public speaking, and SSB interview preparation. Cadets undergo intensive training to build confidence and discipline, crucial for joining the Armed Forces. Participation in ALC is a key milestone, equipping them with essential leadership skills.
Special National Integration Camp (SNIC)
The Special National Integration Camp (SNIC) by NCC promotes national unity and cultural harmony among cadets from diverse regions. Cadets engage in cultural exchanges, community service, adventure training, and leadership activities, fostering discipline, teamwork, and appreciation of India’s rich heritage while contributing to “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.”
The Prime Minister’s Rally (PMR)
The Prime Minister’s Rally (PMR) is an annual prestigious event at the Republic Day Camp (RDC) in Delhi, showcasing NCC training activities through a grand parade, cultural performances, and displays of discipline. Selected cadets from across the country participate, demonstrating their dedication to national service. The event, attended by dignitaries like the Vice President and Prime Minister, honours the achievements of NCC cadets.
Inter Directorate Sports Shooting Championship (IDSSC)
The IDSSC is a premier NCC event that brings together cadets from various directorates to compete in sports shooting. Held annually, it serves as a platform for cadets to showcase their precision, discipline, and focus. The championship promotes camaraderie, healthy competition, and the development of shooting skills among the youth. Participation in IDSSC is a testament to a cadet's commitment to excellence and contributes to the overall growth of the NCC community.
ABVIMAS Manali Camp
The Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports (ABVIMAS) in Manali offers specialised training in mountaineering and adventure sports. NCC cadets undergo programs in trekking, rock climbing, rappelling, and river crossing, enhancing physical endurance and leadership skills. The scenic base camps, like Bakkar Thatch and Bhoj Patra, provide ideal environments for skill-building and teamwork, guided by expert instructors who prepare cadets for challenging terrains.
HIM Trek (All India Girls Trekking Expedition)
The HIM Trek is an esteemed annual NCC event held in Dharamsala, Himachal Pradesh, organised by the Directorate General of NCC. It brings together female cadets from across India for trekking, cultural exchanges, and visits to landmarks like the Dalai Lama Temple and HPCA Stadium. The camp aims to instil leadership, discipline, and a spirit of adventure among cadets in the challenging terrains of the Dhauladhar ranges.
Independence Day Camp (IDC)
The Independence Day Camp (IDC) is an annual event organized by the NCC at Red Fort, New Delhi, bringing together cadets from across the country for drills, cultural programs, and social service. The camp concludes with a grand parade on August 15, attended by dignitaries, celebrating the nation's independence and the cadets' commitment to service. It offers cadets a chance to showcase their discipline and experience national pride.
The Republic Day Camp (RDC)
The Republic Day Camp (RDC) is a major National Cadet Corps (NCC) event held annually at the Cariappa Parade Ground in Delhi Cantt. In 2025, it attracted 2,361 cadets, including 917 girls. The camp includes drills, cultural performances, and leadership training, culminating in the Republic Day Parade on January 26 and the Prime Minister’s Rally on January 28. Competitions feature National Integration Awareness, Drill, Cultural Programs, and Best Cadet awards for the Army, Navy, and Air Force. Participation in the RDC highlights a cadet's commitment and offers a chance to represent their Directorate and the nation.
Rock Climbing Training Camp (RCTC)
The Rock Climbing Training Camp (RCTC) is an annual NCC event that introduces cadets to the fundamentals of rock climbing while fostering adventure and resilience. Held in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, and Neyyardam, Kerala, the camp offers hands-on training in rappelling, jumaring, and artificial wall climbing. Over several days, RCTC enhances cadets' physical endurance, teamwork, and leadership skills, while emphasising safety and environmental awareness. Participation allows cadets to challenge themselves, build confidence, and appreciate nature and adventure sports.
NCC Scuba Diving Camp
The NCC Scuba Diving Camp is a three-week, full-time residential program designed for senior cadets and officers. Conducted in collaboration with the Indian Navy, this program provides training in basic and advanced scuba diving techniques, including open-water dives up to 18 meters. Cadets receive the Basic Diving Badge upon successful completion. The camp enhances physical endurance, teamwork, and environmental awareness. It serves as an introduction to underwater operations and adventure sports.
Thal Sainik Camp (TSC)
The Thal Sainik Camp is a premier NCC event focusing on enhancing leadership, teamwork, and discipline among cadets. Held annually in Delhi, it features rigorous training in obstacle courses, map reading, firing, and fieldcraft. Cadets from all 17 directorates participate, fostering national integration and esprit de corps.
National Integration Camp (NIC)
The National Integration Camp aims to promote national unity by bringing together cadets from diverse cultural backgrounds. Participants engage in cultural exchange, discussions, and various activities that highlight India's rich heritage. NIC serves as a platform for fostering mutual understanding and camaraderie among youth.
Youth Exchange Programme (YEP)
The Youth Exchange Programme offers selected NCC cadets the opportunity to visit friendly foreign countries. This initiative facilitates cultural exchange, allowing cadets to experience and appreciate different cultures, traditions, and lifestyles. YEP aims to build global understanding and strengthen international ties among youth.
