Learning Stories

Evidence of learning through Edsby supports the assessment, evaluation and reporting practices of teachers. Edsby gives teachers tools to create Learning Stories to share with parents/guardians.

You can see evidence that may be posted through your child's Learning Story. This feed is available on both mobile and browser interfaces, with the newest posts at the top of the feed.

Each post includes the teacher’s observation, the media (usually one or two photos) and a conversational feed.

You may hover over the post to see the learning expectations/standards associated with the activity.

The conversational feed enables the teacher and/or parent/guardian to reflect on the learning and share observations.

Mobile

You can access your child’s Learning Story from your mobile device. Log into the Edsby app and click Learning Story under the child's name.

Browser

You can also access your child’s Learning Story on the Edsby browser. Log into Edsby. You'll find the Learning Story feed for each child below the Classes panel.
