National English Honor Society

The National English Honor Society (NEHS) is the only international organization exclusively for secondary students and faculty who, in the field of English, merit special note for past and current accomplishments.  In 2005, National English Honor Society launched and has been growing steadily since becoming one of the largest academic societies for secondary schools.

The English Enlightenment Chapter of NEHS follows the guidelines, bylaws, and constitution of the national chartering organization.  Students are invited to join based on criteria established by the national organization and defined in a local context.  For a copy of the chapter’s bylaws, please submit a written request to the chapter advisor.
