Welcome to Blue Wave Band Booster Page. Below you can will find some amazing ways to help support the band program. This page will fluctuate based upon what is needed by the booster program for the students.  We need as much support as every family can give. If everyone is able to participate in some way we are all moving the program together in a positive direction.

Music in the parks

The Middle School and High School Music Programs are hosting Music in the Parks (MITP) again this year.  This event brings in bands and choruses from all over PA and surrounding states to perform and be adjudicated.  They then go to Hersheypark following their performance.

As a host school, we need to provide volunteers to help with parking/greeting, registration, assisting the schools during their time in the buildign as well as stage set-up.  While time slots on Friday are noted to go late, they rarely do...most times we are done by 8-9pm.  The exact performance times are generally communicated a week in advance.

MITP pays us for being a host school, which brings in a significant amount of money for the music programs, so we would appreciate everyone signing up for at least one time slot to help us out.  Students are specifically needed to help with stage set-up and escorting the schools to and from practice rooms and stage as well as running judges packets to and from the schools.  This is a great way to earn volunteer credit for NHS.
