Here at Decatur, we have a couple of different programs to help our students in ways that go beyond the classroom learning. We understand that when familes are struggling, it's not just at home. Resource Room
Resource Room
The resource room is available for PreK- Staff and is stocked with clothing, toiletry items (toothbrushes/toothpaste, hair brushes/accessories, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, deodorant, and more), and winter wear. We keep general items in stock and have funds available to help purchase other things as needed. This room is funded through fundraisers by our High School Student Council and donations.
Giving Tree- Christmas Program
Giving Tree- Christmas Program
Our Giving Tree is a program that runs from October - December each year. Staff and Community members come together through sponsorship and donations to help give our students a fun and joyous holiday season. Our High School Student Council will then wrap presents of those that were donated and School Counselors will distribute the gifts to the families.
