Spire Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 22, 2026
Developer: Ragnarok Talent Partners
Contact: info@ragnaroktalentpartners.com
The short version
Spire has no accounts and never asks for your name, email, contacts, photos, or precise location. I, the developer, do not collect or store personal information about you. Spire is free and shows ads from Google AdMob. Google collects some information from your device to show and measure those ads, as described below.
1. Information stored only on your device
Spire saves your best height and the number of runs you have finished, so your record survives a restart and ads can be spaced out. This stays in the app's storage on your phone and is never sent to me. Uninstalling Spire, or clearing its data in Android settings, deletes it.
2. Advertising (Google AdMob)
Spire uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK to show banner, full-screen, and optional rewarded ads. When ads are requested, Google may collect or receive:
- your device's advertising ID
- your IP address, from which an approximate location may be inferred
- device and app information, such as model, operating system, language, and app version
- how you interact with ads, such as views and taps
- diagnostic and performance information about the ad SDK
Google uses this to deliver and measure ads, limit how often you see the same ad, prevent fraud, and, where you have consented or the law allows, show more relevant ads. This information is sent to Google encrypted in transit. Google's handling of it is governed by the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services" (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites).
3. Your choices
- EEA, UK, and Switzerland: on first launch you will see Google's consent form. You can change your choice at any time with AD CHOICES on Spire's title screen.
- US states with privacy laws: where required, AD CHOICES on the title screen lets you opt out of the sale or sharing of your information for targeted advertising.
- Any Android device: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in Settings > Google > Ads (on some devices, Settings > Privacy > Ads).
- Uninstalling Spire stops all collection by the app.
4. Sharing your score
The Share Score button creates an image of your run on your device and hands it to your phone's share sheet. Spire does not upload it anywhere. What happens next depends on the app you choose to share with.
5. Permissions
Spire uses internet access to load ads, the advertising ID permission for those ads, and vibration for light haptic feedback when blocks land. It does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files, or precise location.
6. Children
Spire is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through Spire, contact me and I will help remove it.
7. Keeping and deleting information
I do not hold personal information about you, so there is nothing on my side to delete. Information on your device is removed when you uninstall Spire or clear its data. For information Google holds, use Google's privacy controls at My Ad Center (https://myadcenter.google.com).
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or US state privacy laws), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to the use of your personal information. Because Spire's developer holds none, most requests concern Google's advertising data. Contact me and I will point you to the right place and help where I can.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
