I'm Mariah Tyler Moore. I live in Sanpete County. I run Radical Resilience LLC, which is the home for everything I create, teach, and build. The short version: I'm an author of eight published novels and five unpublished manuscripts, a lyricist with over 130 songs on streaming platforms, a freelance journalist covering Central Utah, a web designer, a workshop presenter, an artist, a wife and mother, and a community organizer. I co-founded a soda shop once. I've managed logistics operations and run a finance branch. I've been legally emancipated, homeless, chronically ill, and told more times than I can count that I was too much, not enough, or both at once.
The thing that connects all of it is a philosophy I call Radical Resilience. It's built on the idea that our deepest wounds aren't liabilities. They're credentials. It rests on the Wounded Healer (our scars become the source of our empathy and power), Authentic Self-Expression (refusing to sand down your edges to fit into comfortable boxes), and Found Family (loyalty over bloodlines, always).
I write across genres because life doesn't fit into neat categories. My fiction spans contemporary romance, grimdark fantasy, sci-fi, space opera, zombie apocalypse comedy, paranormal romantasy, technothriller, and self-help. Every single one of those stories is me processing something real through characters brave enough to say what I couldn't.
My work has been acquired by the Las Vegas–Clark County Library District. The Spaces Between Us briefly reached #1 on an Amazon Kindle Bestseller chart. I've presented at writing conferences, covered city council meetings for three news publications, and I'm currently working toward my AA in English at Snow College followed by a BA in Creative Writing with a Journalism emphasis.
I believe in showing up for the work, for the people around me, and for the communities that raised me (even when they didn't do the best job at that).
