About Us
We are lucky enough to co-teach in this second grade classroom. Mrs. Heydrick is with the class all day, and Ms. Diemer pushes in for ELA and math instruction. This unique classroom setup allows us to meet the students needs through more frequent small group and one-on-one instruction.
Meet Mrs. Heydrick
Hello! My name is Mrs. Heydrick and I've worked at QES for 13 years! My first 9 years were spent as a Literacy and Math Specialist, and this is my 4th year as a second grade teacher. I live in South Glens Falls with my husband and two children. Andrew is 7 and is a second grader just like you! Clara just turned 2 this summer. When I'm not at school I enjoy spending time with friends and family, reading, snowmobiling, camping, and playing with my kids.
Meet Ms. Diemer
Welcome back! My name is Ms. Diemer and this is the start of my fifth year at QES! I am a special education teacher and work in 2 second grade classrooms. I grew up and went to school in Saratoga Springs. I completed my bachelors and masters degrees at Suny Plattsburgh. When I'm not at school I spend a lot of time with my family and friends, playing sports, reading, hiking, kayaking, and laying by the pool!
