QueenEarth works in multi-media, breaking expectations for Black imagery, from a painful past, into a joyful creative Afrofuture. Her visual art merges original photography and illustration in mixed media digital collages.
An early Web 3 artist, her NFT presence served to create and lead communities who are against repeating mistakes from the colonized, irl past. Like she does in the real world, digital art became about making space for Queer and Black pioneers. With a gift for creating communities, she created and facilitated onboarding for new and emerging digital creators, many Black, LGBTQ+, and international digital and traditional artists.
QueenEarth is most proud of her digital collage works that tell stories about Black American history as it relates to movement of the Black Diaspora. Her early success was with the sold out NFT collection Middle Passage and Great Migrations. In Web3/ digital art (https://objkt.com/@queenearth) She depicts the movement of the African Diaspora, via the Middle Passage and Reconstruction through Jim Crow and early 20th century American history.
