Function - An inquiry into how people express their cultural identities (The forms of expression, e.g. language, dance, art, music, etc, globally.)
Responsibility - An inquiry into people’s responsibilities to be respectful towards their own and others' cultures (awareness and open-mindedness)
In performing arts, students learn about music and dance traditions in cultures around the world. Cultural experiences include Maori poi and tititorea, South African gumboot dancing, Philippines tinikling dance, India vocal percussion, Chinese drumming, and more.
