About the college

The College of Dentistry / University of Al-Qadisiyah was established on 9/25/2013 to join the colleges of the medical group. The college seeks to raise the medical services provided to citizens by graduating dentists with the required competence to work in scientific and health institutions and to provide the community with doctors in the field of dentistry. The first batch of students was accepted, and their number was 45 students. The duration of the study in college is five years, during which the student learns how to deal with medical conditions related to teeth and the oral cavity. After the student passes the period of study, he is granted a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree (BDS) upon graduation. The college contains two branches when it was established: the branch of basic sciences and the branch of conservative treatment and preventive dentistry. The college also provides services to the community through educational clinics.
