Registration

Today, national and international regulations and standards governing the accountancy profession have become more stringent; competition within the profession here and abroad have heightened; technology and globalization have changed the rules of doing business and redefined the work of the Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) even those in the commerce and industry sector; the various publics that CPAs serve have increased their demands and expectations; and the New and Next Normal also oblige the CPAs to conjure and espouse the future of work.

This environment, which the CPAs find themselves in, challenges them to keep their values intact while at the same time strive to excel in all their undertakings to provide the best and quality service to their clients, and the business and industry in general.

Amidst all these developments, the CPAs, more than ever, are called to serve as exemplars and to be future-fluent professionals, not only of ethical behavior and professional competence, but also of inclusive, excellent, world-class and proactive service to its various publics by adapting to and adopting the continuous innovations and transformations in their profession, in their work and in the business and industry.

During the 36th Annual National Convention of the Association of Certified Public Accountants in Commerce and Industry, which will be held virtually on September 24-28, the organizing committee will bring together experts and notable leaders in business, accountancy profession and government to enlighten the delegates on various issues affecting the CPAs, their practice and business, the accountancy profession, the economy, their mental health, their integrity, and the ever-changing environment that they are working in.
