Teaching
For Queen of Peace Parish Primary School, 2026 will be a year of consolidating teaching practices that align with the Vision for Instruction. Teachers have been using an explicit approach to teaching that is resulting in improved learning for all students. New staff members will have the opportunity to catch up, through mentoring and professional learning, to ensure that their teaching aligns with the school's practices.
Faith Formation
Queen of Peace Parish Primary School is proudly Catholic. We celebrate our Catholic identity and support staff in their faith formation. In 2026, we will explore the life, service and commitment of St Mary of the Cross MacKillop. As the founder of the Sisters of St Joseph, Mary's life provides us with a model of faith, service and a fierce commitment to Catholic education. We will be visiting the Mary Mackillop Centre in East Melbourne as part of our faith development.
