About Ms. Flanagan :)

I am thrilled to become a part of the Queen of Angels school community as the fourth grade teacher for the 2026-2027 school year! As a recent graduate of West Chester University's Honors College with my certifications in Early Grades Preparation and Special Education, I am looking forward to the opportunity of sharing my love for learning in a faith-centered school community. 

From a family of educators, my passion for learning was established at a young age and fulfilled through my undergraduate years at West Chester University. My experiences as a resource teacher in the Early Childhood Education setting while completing my undergraduate studies has supplied me with meaningful experiences and directly shaped my personal teaching philosophy. Additionally, I am a proud graduate of Our Lady Mercy Regional Catholic School and Lansdale Catholic High School. My Catholic education has established, strengthened, and sustained the strong foundation of faith that remains at the center of my life. What a blessing it is to share this love and faith to a classroom of young learners! 

Outside of the classroom, I can be found with a paintbrush in hand as I love to create, share and sell my watercolor and pen & ink paintings at local craft vendor markets from my small business. I have also worked at a floral design and event planning business for an ongoing 6 years, which is my additional creative outlet and passion in the summer months. I look forward to extending this creativity into arts-integrated lessons! 

I am so grateful for the opportunity to teach, share and inspire this upcoming school year and beyond as I fulfill my lifelong dream as an educator & positive difference maker.
