In Eighth Grade we work on:

Creating a portfolio

Using elements and principles of design to create a piece of art

Understanding the use of color theory in works of art

Creating tile art

Creating an Abstract piece of art

*Final project- students are expected to sketch out and design a logo, explore colors they will use, and do research on final project. They will then construct and color the final project. They will use their knowledge of design principles and color theory to create their three dimensional model.
