Senior Band
Senior Band
Made up of our more experienced musicians, Senior Band plays fun and challenging music that spans many genres and composers, from the beautiful melodies of classical greats like Bizet and Mendelssohn to the iconic tunes of jazz legends like Ellington and Coltrane!
If your child is in either band, please have them join the Google Classroom! They can either click the button to the right, or use the class code yokei7ue.
Concert Band

Newer musicians will begin their journey in Junior Band, which joins the Senior Band to form our Concert Band!
Concert Band is where all our musicians at QoA can come together and make music, from those with only a few months of experience to those who've played their instruments for years!
 Reminder: new musicians must take beginner lessons before joining Junior Band!
Rehearsals
Rehearsals are held in the Performing Arts Room at the upper school on Tuesdays from 3:00-4:30pm. Rehearsals alternate weekly between Senior Band and Concert Band (Sr. + Jr. Band). Click here for the full rehearsal schedule.
Pickup
Pickup is at the front of the upper school. Parents are required to sign any band students up for CARES. If no one is there to pick up a student after band, they will be sent to CARES.
Hershey Park Competition
Hershey Park Competition
Every year, Senior Band goes to Hershey Park for a competition and day at the park! In 2026, the band took home a considerable amount of awards!
The Senior Band received Excellent ratings and placed 1st in both the Concert and Jazz divisions! Our trumpet section also received an Outstanding Section award, and 4 of our soloists recieved solo awards!
