Welcome to QMU!

Our campus is 5 minutes from the centre of Edinburgh, set in modern campus grounds with space to wander in the conference breaks. 

How to get there

Arriving by Train (Waverly Station):

Train: in direction of North Berwick, disembark at Musselburgh (first stop), the University will be on your right, just follow the signs. Tickets need to be purchased in the station

Bus: Stops are outside of Waverly Station, direction Princes Street

Number 30 (direction Musselburgh) at Edinburgh Princes Street (Scott Mon.) Stop PH

 Number 45 (direction Queen Margaret University) at Edinburgh Princes Street (Waverly Steps) Stop PN 

For both buses disembark at Queen Margaret University

Tickets can be purchased with a contactless card or the exact amount in cash. You can find the Lothian Buses fares here.


Arriving by Plane (Edinburgh Airport):

Tram: take the tram until the last stop (St. Andrews Square)

Bus: Take the 100 to City Centre until the last stop (pay by cash or card, a return is cheaper)
