Other readers will always be interested in your opinion of the books you've read. Whether you've loved the book or not, if you give your honest and detailed thoughts then others will be able to find new books that are just right for them. Once they have reviewed it, you will be able to find books just right for you.
Reviewing your favourite (or not so favourite) titles will most definitely help you with reading comprehension in turn preparing you for GCSE and beyond. Not only will writing a review help with you education, it will allow you an opportunity to express your opinion (good or bad ) through writing.
You must include certain elements and here are some guidelines how to write a book review:
You should start the review with introduction section telling us about the title and author.
A brief summary of the plot that is the events and main part of the story, but don’t give to much away.
Comments on the books strength and weakness
When and where does the the action take place? Does the author make you feel part of the story? Do you feel the author has done a good job making you feel that you are there?
What do you like and dislike about the author's style of writing?
Are the main characters believable? Who is your favorite and why?
