In 1999, faced with a health challenge, she decided to augment the conventional medical treatment she was receiving with acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine consistently for seven years. That’s when she realized the power of the ancient medicine and how it can profoundly complement the modern one. This inspired her to begin her schooling in 2002.
