Hi! I am Kayla Rowley and I am graduating from Queen Creek High School. I am a student who has always been involved in the arts, whether that be through theatre, dance or choir. I have been in theatre since my Freshman year and I'm highly involved in the program. I also have a huge love for marketing and digital creation.
I started theatre way back in 1st grade when I did my first musical, Suessical. Ever since then I've had a love and devotion for performing. Since then I have been in 17 shows including plays, musicals and one-acts. My most recent roles include Sandra Bloom in Big Fish (my most favorite <3 ), Lettie Blacklock in A Murder is Announced, Fate 2 in Hadestown: Teen Edition, Countess Ipolitov in Anastasia Jr. and Charon in Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief. I am also highly involved in Queen Creek's Chorale where I have been in the program for 3 years. I am also very involved in Queen Creek's dance program as I have been in it for 2 years. I began in beginning dance my 1st semester of Junior year, then I moved to advanced dance in my 2nd semester and now I have the privilege of being on Queen Creek's Prodigy Dance Company my Senior year. Dance was introduced to me through theatre and it's such a privilege to get to expand my dance to different styles. I have also been involved in my theatre programs Marketing team and I had the privilege of being the Marketing Lead my Senior year. I also was a part of the schools internship for Social Media and their content creation.
Alongside my love for performing I also have a love for Marketing and digital creation. I plan on attending Arizona State University with a major in Business and minor in Music Theatre. I plan on working my way up to a Digital Marketing Major to broaden my knowledge of content creation and branding. I also plan to move to New York City in about 2 years, while continuing my degree online. My dream is to work in both of my worlds through Theatre Marketing whether that be through Playbill, Broadway.com or running a broadway shows Social Medias.
