Capstone Presentation
Below you will find the presentation I gave to showcase the final product of the Capstone
If watching a video is not your thing, here is the powerpoint I followed for the presentation
Construction of Capstone
I started the base of project by cutting a hole through a broken chair and gluing a 4x4 plank of wood to create a stable base. I then drilled a hole into the middle of plank and placed a metal dowel so that the project would be able to break down and be transported. I then made the top half of the of the frame, it supposed to give a similar effect to a person that is hunched over, almost as if they're leaning down to look you in the eyes. I then filled the form with layers of chicken wire and a foam sealant to give the body more of a life-like appearance. I then I made something akin to a cloak by sewing rows of tulle from bottom to top all by hand, the tulle is meant to look like smoke is cascading down from the crown of the skulls. On the antlers, beads hang to give it the illusion of grey rain, almost like the rain has been tainted by the smoke around itself. I will be playing music while I present my Capstone, I think rain sounds and swelling music fits it best.
Reflection
Here is an oral reflection about my capstone, there is a written version below the video
