All performers must arrive in their first costume with hair and makeup done at the venue with appropriate Eisteddfod Uniform Garments over the top. All additional costumes must travel in the provided Pymble Dance Garment Bag. Students will also take School Bag to the Eisteddfod with them.

Hair and Make up
Contemporary: Low, slick, middle-part bun, just off neck
Jazz: Low, slick, middle-part, ponytail with plait
Meeting Point
At the main entrance to the venue. A representative from the group will wait at the appropriate meeting times to direct students to our change room. Please check in with group leader when you arrive. Students must sign out with their teacher at the end of their final performance and arrange a place to meet their parents.
Transport
Parents are responsible for transporting their daughter to and from each Eisteddfod.
Videography
Filming the competition is strictly prohibited and can result in disqualification. An official Video Operator will film every competitor and the footage will be emailed to Pymble Dance within ten days of the competition. In participating in this Eisteddfod, you agree to the competition using your daughter’s images/video snippets to promote the event.
Medical Update
Students must ensure they have all their required medications on them at all times, this includes their own Epipen, Antihistamines, and Ventolin where required.

Eisteddfod Dance Uniform Garments: Claire Duo Shorts / Navy Leggings, Pymble Dance T-Shirt or Pymble Dance Singlet.
Uniform must also be worn for the performance. No PE Shirts, Showcase T-shirts, black leggings/shorts are permitted as they are not a part of our Eisteddfod Uniform.

Please note that all school results are presented on stage at approximately 8.30pm. All students are permitted to leave at the end of their section if they wish. Pymble Dance Captains will be required to stay for the presentation. Please read the collection point below for details.

Students must bring all costume garments, shoes and props required for their group.

Food
Students must bring their own snacks and dinner for the event as there may not be an opportunity to purchase food at the event.
Transport
Parents are responsible for arranging transport for their daughters to and from the event. Please consider carpooling.
Due to this Eisteddfod falling on a Friday evening, please be aware of Friday traffic congestion if you are planning to drive your daughter to the event. We suggest allowing an hour’s travel time from Pymble to the venue.
Parking
Onsite parking is available. Please allow enough time to potentially park walking distance away from the venue.

Ticket Sales for DanceLife Unite Eisteddfod are now open on TryBooking! (See relevant links below). Make sure you purchase your tickets now before they run out!
Spectator Tickets are available for $25 per session pre-purchased via TRYBOOKING. Upon arrival, please exchange your ticket for a SPECTATOR WRISTBAND at the DLU FRONT DESK. This wristband allows spectators to freely move in and out of the venue for the sessions they have purchased.

Dancer Audience Passes are available for $10 for a Day/Weekend Pass (pre-purchased) or $15 if purchased at the event.

Please note: Spectator Tickets are for each SESSION and are in the form of a wristband which is exchanged for your TryBooking QR code at the registration desk with DLU staff - please arrive early to register and claim your wristband for session entry. DLU staff must fix the wristband to your wrist and they cannot be shared. Spectator fees help pay for the expensive venue and all other associated costs to run the event.

Parking – limited parking available at Gate 1A Ada Avenue. Parking is available on the surrounding streets including Ada Avenue, Lucinda Avenue, The Glade.
Please make safe and smart choices when parking, dropping off and picking up. Although there is some onsite parking, there will certainly not be enough on troupe days. Please allow enough time to potentially park walking distance away from the venue.

Covid Regulations from Extreme Dance Competition
The most up to date Covid restrictions/regulations will be emailed to all competitors in the weeks leading up to the competition so they are in line with the most current guidelines. Audience numbers and backstage crowd control will be dependent on these guidelines. We will inform you as soon as we can. We ask you all in advance to please comply with ALL the guidelines we provide. We feel very fortunate to be able to run our comp and want to respect our venues and the NSW Government recommendations to keep all our competitors and patrons safe.

Under Garments
All students are required to have appropriate under garments. No under garment is to be seen under the Dance Costume.
All extra tights should also be purchased through Bloch Dance Stores, so they are all the same.
All junior students must have Bloch body stockings.
Caring for your Costume
This year, all garment bags have been named, and all costume items have name tags.
Please keep costumes hung up at all times.
Air out or wash costumes if needed between Eisteddfods.
Always check items in Garment Bag before and after an Eisteddfod.
Report any missing or damaged items to dance department.
Costumes are the property of Pymble Ladies’ College, and any misplaced or damaged costumes will be charged at full price.
Jazz White, Contemporary White and Navy – Please take extra care with makeup for white costumes.
Washing your Costume
Gently hand wash garments separately in cold water, using a mild liquid detergent. Take care with any Beads and Sequins.
Rinse immediately in cold water
Dry garment flat on a towel, in the shade
