AP Courses and Exams - 2025-2026

Please follow these steps to prepare for your Advanced Placement (AP) exams in May 2026. Visit the VHS AP website regularly for updated information throughout the year.  

Registration:

• Join your AP classroom using the 'Join Codes’ provided by your teachers by September 12, 2025.

• Failure to join will prevent you from registering for the corresponding AP Exam.  

• After September 26th, you cannot change your exam preference (no, undecided, or yes) on your own.  Contact Ms. Johnston to make any changes to your exam registration. 

Account Management:

• If you have an account with The College Board from last year, do not create a new one.

• If you've forgotten your username or password, visit the help page or call the College Board at 888-225-5427.

• Use Valencia High School's code: 052480 when registering in the College Board Portal.

Exam Purchasing Requirements:

• VHS schedule to show you are enrolled in the course at VHS

• VHS student ID

• AP student ID

Exam Costs:

• Standard price: $99

• Reduced price: $20 (see the College and Career Center for eligibility)

  • In-person purchases only with cash or a check

Payment Methods:

• Cash or checks (made out to Valencia High School) at VHS Finance Window

  • No credit card payments at the Finance Window

• Credit Card online payments through VHS store only (processing fee applies)

Registration Periods and Fees:

Fall Registration (September 29 - November 7, 2025)

• All AP exams are available for purchase

• No additional fees

• After November 7: $40 fee for purchases or cancellations

Spring Registration (February 2, 2025 - March 6, 2026)

• Second-semester courses only: Government, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics

• After March 6: $40 fee for purchases or cancellations

Important Items:

• You have to be registered for the class at VHS to take the exam here

• Use the join code to enroll in the AP Classroom so you can use the practice tests

• If you drop your AP class during the year you can not take the exam

Important Deadlines:

• April 3, 2026: NO refunds available after this date

• Finance Window Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
