The Val Tech Academy at Valencia High School in Placentia, CA is a 4-year program that allows students to gain valuable experience and advanced technological skills as they explore potential career pathways of interest to them.
We are seeking potential internship partners who have the ability to provide growth opportunities for these high achieving students during the summer through invaluable professional experiences.
During the summer before their 12th grade year, Val Tech students are required to engage in work-based learning experiences with an organization for a minimum of 150 hours. During their internship, they will also participate in a weekly, reflective Career Pathway Internship course which provides additional support and guidance through their instructor. The partnership with North Orange County Regional Occupational Program (NOCROP) provides coverage for workers’ compensation and liability insurance while they are enrolled in this course.
