Grading Criteria

It is up to your child to EARN good grades.

The following is a brief explanation of my grading policy.


A – Outstanding (Way over and above my stated expectations)

B – Above Average (Shows some evidence of extra attention to detail)

C – Average (Meets my stated expectations for the assignment)

D – Below Average (Does not meet my minimal expectations)

F – Failing ( Shows little or no effort)


Homework

  • Students will have daily homework. It may include assignments not finished in class..

  • Students can find their "To Do" list on Google Classroom.

  • There will be the occasional long term project that will reinforce time management and planning skills.

  • Some students may also be assigned remediation work (math/reading).

  • Prior notice will be given for major tests: (study beyond school hours WILL be required).

  • Textbook websites provided, if possible; other material will be posted for viewing on Google Classroom.
