Grading Criteria
It is up to your child to EARN good grades.
The following is a brief explanation of my grading policy.
A – Outstanding (Way over and above my stated expectations)
B – Above Average (Shows some evidence of extra attention to detail)
C – Average (Meets my stated expectations for the assignment)
D – Below Average (Does not meet my minimal expectations)
F – Failing ( Shows little or no effort)
Homework
Students will have daily homework. It may include assignments not finished in class..
Students can find their "To Do" list on Google Classroom.
There will be the occasional long term project that will reinforce time management and planning skills.
Some students may also be assigned remediation work (math/reading).
Prior notice will be given for major tests: (study beyond school hours WILL be required).
Textbook websites provided, if possible; other material will be posted for viewing on Google Classroom.
