During school hours I am best reached through email however, you can also call the school and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
After school hours I am only accessible through remind, email and google classroom until the next school day. Remind is the most immediate way to contact me after school hours.
A Little bit about Ms. Carone
My Time in Blythe
My name is Ms. Carone and I teach 9th grade Earth Science and Peer Mediation at Palo Verde High School. In my time in Blythe I have taught 7th and 8th grade Science, AVID 9, Drama, been an ASB and ASL Advisor and am the Coordinator of the Peer Mediation program at PVVHS. I have also been Science Department Chair for all but one of the years I've been in Blythe.
My Education
I was born in Palm Springs, California. I graduated from Palm Springs High School with Honors as an part of the International Thespian Society. I have a BS in Geology from Humboldt State University, Single Subject Teaching Credential in Science with a specialization in Earth Science from California State University of San Bernardino and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Grand Canyon University.
Something unique about me
I was bitten by a rattlesnake when I was 9 years old and have loved snakes ever since. I have 4 pet snakes; Ball Python, 2 Dumeril Boa Constrictors, and a Red Tail Boa Constrictor. I also have an Umbrella Cockatoo named Olivia and 2 cats. I spent millennium New Years in London marching in the New Years parade where I played the trumpet. I have also been to Italy, Paris, France and Fiji. I dream of making it to Iceland for the geologic topography and Australia for the amazing critters.
