  • Write the word 

  • Draw a picture that represents the meaning of the word to help you remember what that word means 

  • Write the definition of the word in your own words 

  • Use the word in a sentence 

  • Cite the page and paragraph where the word is defined within the book (not in the glossary) 

3. Visual Poster model IP9

• Students will be assigned one word and work with their neighbor to create a model of the word 

• In pencil no color 

• Students will get it approved and get poster paper 

4. Get poster design approved 

• Students will draw their approved design on poster paper and bring it up to be shown 

• Once approved they will get their poster paper 

5. Create Visual Poster 

• Students will work together to efficiently create their poster and come up to get their stamp for IP9

6. Gallery Walk 

• Students walk around the room and collect the other 5 vocabulary words they need to complete their visual sheet. 

• Any words they don't complete is homework for them to do on their own

   3. Letters must be sealed in envelope with seal signed by person who wrote the letter.
