Video editing is where the magic is created! We use WeVideo, a web-based video editing software that packs a lot of punch for an internet based program. WeVideo premium subscription allows for additional features, such as green screen editing, access to stock media, and capability to export at 720HD. For the first introduction of WeVideo to students, it will take time to show all the features and have students explore and practice. This time will pay off when students start their own projects and create amazing effects.
Step 1: Upgrade your account and/or your students' accounts to WeVideo Premium. The easiest way is to send us an email (dtic@pvusd.net) listing the section ID from Synergy for each class you want to give access to. We will upload the accounts on the back end. Or, we can share a link with you that students can use to self-enroll.
Step 2: Use this WeVideo Cheat Sheet as a reference while you are editing.
Step 3: Students create a new edit.
