Students will need to plan out the beginning, middle, and end of the story/ concept they're trying to demonstrate before filming. Use a storyboard template to guide students through the planning process.

The storyboard should guide students through the following:
Movie characters (these don't need to be people!)
Movie setting(s)
Materials needed to create characters and settings
Basic story outline: beginning, middle, and end
Movie title
The printable storyboards will allow students to draw and write their plan with pencil (best for younger students)
The digital storyboards can be assigned through Google Classroom for students to complete on their Chromebooks
Students can take pictures of their characters and backdrops with the Chromebooks and insert it into the digital storyboards
You can modify the digital storyboards to include more or less boxes, and then either assign them through Google Classroom or print them out.
It is best for students to firmly plan out any dialogue that will need to be recorded
