FAFSA is an application for federal government financial aid for colleges and universities
It is completely FREE to apply
You can apply with either a social security number (SSN) or a registration card.
You will apply for this before you go to college and also have to renew it every year to receive aid.
The California DREAM Act Application (CADAA) makes sure undocumented and nonresident students can get financial aid for college. Students who live in California and meet the eligibility requirements for a non-resident exemption, as well as students who have a U Visa or TPS status, can apply for the California Dream Act application.
You are eligible if you qualify for one of the following:
undocumented
have a valid or expired DACA
U Visa Holder
Have (Temporary Protective Status) TPS
You do not need a social security number to apply
