Also, PLEASE make sure your child is checking Google Classroom DAILY for each of their classes to know what it is they are to do for the day.

Please also come to MV and sign up for ParentConnect. This will give you 24/7 access to my grade book and will allow you to see your child's current grade as well as any missing assignments.

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and let you learn a little bit about me as the school year begins. This will be my 21th year as a teacher in PVSD, and my 16th fabulous year at Monte Vista. I was raised in Camarillo, and am pleased to be able to now teach in the community I so love. I earned my Bachelor's degree at California State University of Northridge, and my teaching credential from California State University of Channel Islands.
I have a daughter, Alexandra, who in an incredible scenic artist, a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley and I am so very proud of her. I also have an imaginative, and energetic son, Joey. Amazingly, he will be starting 5nd grade this year. Our family also includes a cat, Gizmo. When I am not teaching, I enjoy going to the pool, working in my garden, looking for sea glass at the beach, crocheting, and playing Animal Crossing. I look forward to getting to know all of you and having a truly amazing year!
