My name is Sheryl Pearson and I'm so happy to be teaching 5th grade this year. Here's a little about me:

I grew up in Southern California. As a child, I lived in North Hollywood, Redondo Beach and Thousand Oaks. After graduating from CSUN with a BA in both English literature and art, I worked for several years as an office manager. Later I moved to Colorado where I earned my Masters degree in Elementary Education from The Colorado College in 1998. I have taught in Colorado Springs, Woodland Park, Oak Park and here, in Camarillo. I have been at La Mariposa since the school opened. Now I live in Oak View with my two crazy kittens. I love the challenges of teaching, and I think this will be an exciting year!
