Course Description
Welcome to Music 6 - Exploring Music! This class will provide an introduction to the fundamentals of music, including music theory, performance, composition and appreciation. The course will include a focus on technology-based projects, including music creation, and also introduce students to different musical styles and cultures. Students will engage with music through the playing of classroom instruments (recorders, percussion and more!) to help build their musical skills and knowledge.

Welcome to Music 6 - Exploring Music!
This one-semester exploratory music class is part of Monte Vista's exploratory wheel program for 6th grade students.
Note - Students who are absent will need to go to the Classwork Tab in Google Classroom, find the current week we are in and look at the Agenda slide for the day as well as posted assignments for the week. Any links to instructional videos will be posted in the Agenda slides or directly attached to the assignment for that day.
