Students are not expected to get every single math problem correct but are expected to try assigned problems with work shown and effort given.
Students are encouraged to ask clarifying questions of me and of peers in class. Please encourage your student to approach me if they do not understand concepts and skills practiced in class.
All homework assignments in the Apply book come with a lesson helper. This is a mini review of what they learned in class and has examples. If your child needs help with thier homework, the first step is to review the lesson helper. If they are still stuck, please have them try the problem and star it and show me in class so I know to go over it with them.

IXL
We use IXL in class along with whole group lessons. Your student logs in using classlink. I also suggest your child use it at home a few days a week for about 15 minutes per session to help strenghten the concepts and skills learned in class.
