From a young age, I was inspired to become an educator. During my summer vacations, I would accompany my dad while he taught at the local elementary school. I was able to witness how he positively impacted the lives of the students he interacted with.Â
My desire to support students with varied learning needs was enhanced when my younger brother, Caelan, was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder at the age of 4. I knew I wanted to support students similar to him and so I decided to pursue my teaching degree to do just that!
