This year, 6th grade students will be engaged in a variety of language arts skills including:

• Vocabulary Expansion

• Speaking and Listening 

• Literary Analysis

• Writing

• Grammar and Mechanics

Supports for ELA include:

• Small group centers

• Modified presentation

• Alternative response

• Support tools 

• Broken down tasks/Instructions

• Modifications based on individual learning needs

Students will access their assignments through Google Classroom and should check their grades on Student Connect/Q.
