In the right hand corner they have a choice of working with the vocals or performace version which is just the music. Students also have all the lyrics.
Fifth Grade has hearing and vision screening on Wednesday 11/4. If your child wears glasses they need to bring them for the vision test.
Fun Run-11/13-If you can, please donate to support our school!
The trimester ends on 11/13. I will be trying to get all student work turned in by that date.
Our field trip to the Griffith Observatory has been approved!
On Thursday, January 21, 2027 we will leave the school at 7:00 a.m. and return around 3 p.m.
We will need a few chaperones to accompany us. We will work out all the details in December!
Please keep working on multiplication fact fluency. Half of the class has passed so far!

Fifth grade Weekly Overview
Math- Module 3 - continuing with multiplying and dividing fractions. Topic A quiz on Wednesday.
ELA- This week we will focus on Esperanza Rising.
We will support our science unit by reading the benchmark unit, "Matter".
No vocabulary this week.
Social Studies-
Science- We are continuing our ecosystems unit.
