Academic * College/Career* Social/Emotional
I am pleased to introduce myself as your 2018 - 2019 K-8 School Counselor. I have been working in the field of education for the past 25 years as both a teacher and school counselor. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Secondary Teaching Credentials in both Science and Social Science from the University of California Riverside. After teaching in the Redondo Beach Unified School District for several years, I went on to pursue my Master of Arts in School Counseling with a Pupil Personnel Services Credential from Loyola Marymount University. My husband and I eventually moved to Ventura in 2000 and are happily raising our 3 children, Cooper, Finnley, and Tyleigh.
I am very excited to be working with the students, parents, and teachers of both Los Primeros and Camarillo Heights schools. I strive to provide the support necessary so that each child feels capable and confident academically, socially, and emotionally. Parent referral forms and permission for counseling forms are available in the school office or through the links provided on this webpage. I look forward to working with families to achieve academic and social success in both school and life.
Please feel free to contact me for assistance.
