CHAMPS Positive Behavior Model

CHAMPS - We use CHAMPS as a behavioral model in PVSD. CHAMPS stands for: conversation, help, activity, movement, and participation. It sets clear expectations throughout the school and district. I also use the CHAMPS Behavior Rubric (below) to grade students during collaborative work. Each desk has a rubric affixed to it, so the students always have a visual reminder of what is expected.
