Birthdays
Your child’s birthday will be acknowledged with a song and special recognition in the classroom.
School Policy does not allow for edible treats or gifts on campus, including in the front of the school at dismissal.
If sending party invitations to be distributed at school, please ensure every child is included. For smaller parties, please use the information from the Friendship List for invites.
If you would like to do something special in honor of your child, we suggest a book be purchased for the classroom library with your child’s name in it.
***If you do not celebrate birthdays, please let us know so that we may honor your wishes.

Homework
Monday – Thursday, your child will have a Home Reading assignment, a math assignment, and one weekly UFLI (reading program) assignment.
Reading is your child’s most important homework.
Math books stay at home. After assignments are completed, please tear the pages out and return on Friday via our weekly take home folder. Please do not work ahead.

Spirit Wear
Our school encourages children to show their school spirit by wearing Spirit-wear or blue and green on Fridays.
We will also have various dress up days on spirit days!
