Integrated Math 1 is a high school level course. Students who pass this course will be able to advance to Math 2 or Math 2 Honors in high school next year. The students in this course will be able to advance their understanding and application of algebra and geometry concepts learned last year. They will be able to reason quantitatively and use units to solve problems. They will be able to interpret the structure of expressions and apply that to creating and solving equations, inequalities, and systems of equations and inequalities; representing these algebraically and graphically. They will be able to understand, interpret, analyze, and build functions arising from a variety of representations and real-life contexts. They will be able to construct, compare, and interpret linear and exponential models. They will understand congruence in terms of rigid motions and use their geometric knowledge to prove geometric theorems and triangle congruence. They will be able to summarize, represent, and interpret data arising in various situations.
