WELCOME!

5/26/26- We kicked off the final stretch of the school year with an absolute blast at our school pep rally! The gym was packed with energy as students competed in some hilarious games and recognized our clubs, athletes, and musicians. 

But amid all the cheering and high-fives, we paused for a quick huddle on a very important game plan. We reminded our amazing students that the final buzzer hasn’t sounded yet! As we sprint toward summer, we are still holding the line on being respectful, responsible, and careful. We want to finish this year just like we started it—as absolute champions. Thank you for helping us keep that momentum going at home! 

5/11/2026- We reached Fidelity for the second year! 

1/9/2026- Our January Pep Rally focuses on review and acknowledgment. We reviewed the pillars of being West Strong with a focus on being Respectful in our tone of voice. We acknowledged those that teachers nominated for being Respectful, Responsible, and Careful. Finally, we acknowledged those that particiapate in a sport, club, or music group.  

During the Pep Rally, we presented our Popcorn Fundraiser. More information to follow. 

Week of 9/2-9/5- During Instruction and Enrichment, students participated in PBIS lessons that focus on respect, responsibility, and safety. These activities help reinforce positive behaviors and build a strong school community. 

9/2/2025- Kickoff success! On Thursday, August 28, West held its PBIS Kickoff Assembly to conclude a very exciting first week. Guest appearances from The Viking and The Chicken. Students learned all about PBIS and what they can expect to see this year in school, while also having fun and winning prizes. 

With a new school year beginning, we, the PBIS Core Team, want to expand our communication. For the past year, we have communicated through Mr. Creeden's West Word Newsletters. We want to introduce what we hope will be a more streamlined and informative method of communication.
